We created proposals to refurbish and remodel the interior and exterior of this 60,000 sq. ft. office building which comprised of four storeys plus a basement.

The existing building comprised of a four storey office plus part basement but the U-shaped plan did not benefit the floorplate. The existing facade stepped inwards to the north resulting in dark office space. This situation was made worse through the addition of dated pitched pantile projecting canopies. The resultant effect is detrimental both visually and environmentally on the building and its occupants.

Proposals extend the existing footprint and reconfigure the circulation to provide increased efficiency within the floorplates. The office space is orientated around a new central atrium, which both informs the environmental strategy and creates a dynamic backdrop to the open plan flexible office floorplates.
