We were approached by Leodiensians RUFC to design a new rugby club that would significantly improve their current out dated facilities.
The proposals needed to respond to a young ambitious club and have the ability to be able to phase the development from a funding perspective. The club, which sits within a striking and secluded landscape setting, needed to ensure that the proposals were robust and considered the club’s longevity.
The building was conceived as a solid pavilion with a robust concrete ground floor which houses all of the day-to-day changing, gym and physio facilities. The upper floor is made up of offices, function rooms and a bar, and it incorporates a dynamic roofscape which announces the building’s arrival.
