Story Cellar.

We were asked by Michelin Starred chef Tom Sellers to convert a retail unit in Neal’s Yard into an outpost of his main establishment, Restaurant Story, with a focus on wine.

Intended to have the spirit of a Parisian Bistro in London, the interior architecture is to be centred around banquette and counter seating and an open bar. The celebration and display of wine will be central to the experience.

The functional opulence of the Parisian Bistro is replicated through a rigorous colour and material palette of navy, monochrome geometric tile, and timber panelling, accented with crimson leather seating.

At basement level a glazed screen allows views of the restaurant’s wine storage, with bottles displayed within bespoke joinery items.
